Mr Bootorel defended the independence of the French judiciary in a statement.

The Social Media Giant X said that the Paris prosecutors had asked to transfer data on all user messages for analysis by researchers David Chavalarias and Maziyar Panahi, who, according to them, had both shown “open hostility to X”.
Mr. Chavalarias did not respond to a request for comments.
Mr. Panahi denied any involvement in the investigation.
“My name was accidentally mentioned, based on my earlier research projects with David Chavalarias, who had no hostile intention to X,” he said in an e -mail.
“The fact that my name is mentioned in such an incorrect way shows how little esteem they have for the life of others … I will not hesitate to take legal steps because of defamation if I received any form of hate -sowing speech.”
A spokesperson for X said the company was with his statement.
It also criticized the fact that it was investigated under organized crime costs, so that the police can tap the personal devices of his employees.
