Filipino pole vaulting star EJ Oprena picks up his second gold medal of the season after reigning the Orlen Copernicus Cup in Poland. – Copernicus Cup
Manila, Philippines-EJ Opriena’s goal to organize a first-class pole vault in the country, finally takes place from 20 to 21 September in Ayala Triangle Gardens in Makati.
OBIENA made the announcement on Monday via an online press conference.

“It has been my lifelong dream to set up a world -class sporting event in my home country to show Filipin’s talent and make the nation proud. Now it is finally happening. I call on my Kababayans (countrymen) to come together and support this one -time event,” said the World No. 4 pole vaulter and two -time Olympian.
The event Nealnchronized Athletang Ayala World Pols Vault Challenge is punished by the World Athletics and participating athletes will earn ranking points.
Obiena initially intended to hold the tournament last year, but it was postponed after the Asian champion and record holder had to lower his seasonal shorts in 2024 due to a spinal cord glazsel.

The World Pols Vault Challenge is intended to bring various of the top pool researchers to the world, including Mondo Duplantis from Sweden. Duplantis recently raised its World Pole Vault record to 6.28 m last month on a Diamond League meeting for his home fans.
The 29-year-old Oprena is planned to compete on 11 July in the meeting Herculis EBs in Monaco.
