EHL: Gerniers and Van Doren win Golden Stick Awards

A series of players playing this season in the Euro Hockey League were honored on Sunday evening on the Golden Stick evening of Belgian Hockey with Alix Gerniers and Arthur van Doren who took the best player prizes.

The book by Gernier’s Gernier The Honor Attover of Burden Season’s Club Michlle Strut and KHC Dragons’ Jimmena Cedres.

For Van Doren he took the prize after last season of Braxgata that ended with a first place in the EHL where they will debut in Barcelona in October. He won the price prior to the nominated Tomi Domene van Waterloo Ducks and Gantoise’s Antoine Kina.

Van Doren’s Club Mate Pirmin Bake took the goalkeeper of the year with Gantoise’s Pascal Kina winning coach of the year after the Belgian championship of his club and EHL Double.

On the women’s side, Brax’s Camille Belis De Young Talent (Espoir) won honor as a reward for her role in the title win of the club and EHL Silver Medal. Gantoise’s Kevan Demartinis won the coach of the year.

This prestigious gala evening rewards the best players, keepers, young talents, coaches and referees of the hockey season 2024-2025.

The players and head coaches of all teams who participated in the Belfius Women’s League had the opportunity to vote for the best player, Best Young Player (Espoir), best keeper, best coach and best referee of the past season.

The same was done for the players and coaches of the Carlsberg 0.0 men’s competition. The mood took place in two phases: a first round at the end of the first half of the season and a second at the end of the regular season, just before the play-off semi-final.
