Last week I spoke about how one of my teams was absolutely destroyed by injuries, so I had to use a number of rookies. Well, I am happy to be able to report that Woody Marks came up with a Breakout version and wore me to a much needed W, giving me 2-2 to 2-2.
I also got another Galaxy-Brain movement in my home competition to start week 5. With Byes, injuries and a racehee riding suspension, so I only had two healthy wide-outs in a three-WR line-up, I had to become creative. I was scanning the player’s pool when I saw him. Jesus Christ … that is Kendrick Bourne. I picked him up on Thursday morning, threw him straight into the fire and he rewarded me with a Jerry Rice Cosplay: 10 grabs for 142 meters, a career high. Not bad for a despair Dartsworp. That hot start is perhaps enough to make me upset this week.
I am sure that many managers are in the same boat this week. Four teams are in week 5 see you soon and we have just lost a number of great fantasy stable: Lamar Jackson, Malik Nubers, Tyreek Hill, Bucky Irving, Trey Benson and Chuba Hubbard. It’s rough there, people. But tough pieces such as these also create opportunities.
A good example: I lost Navers on a competition and turned him and a projected late second-rounder for Rome Odunze and a late first. Love that deal. In the same competition, where it looks like I will be in Irving and Hubbard for a few weeks, I took that first choice and my projected late first round pick and bought Jonathan Taylor. Sometimes in fantasy you can’t just fold a bad hand, you have to slide your chips all-in.

Dynasty Fantasy Football Trade Advice Week 5
Buy: Te Kyle Pitts, Atlanta Falcons
Does my eyes might be cheating, or are we finally witnessing the output on Kyle Pitts that we all waited for? Because of long-suffering Pitts managers who have held him due to injuries, bad coaching and insufficient Quarterback play, let’s hope that this is not just a cruel plague.
On the way to his week 5 bye, Pitts comes from his best match of the season – all five of his goals catch for 70 Yards and a touchdown against the commanders. He has now seen at least five goals and has played at least 74%+ of the snaps in every match. After a few rough seasons where he was in fact a mythological being – all hype, no observations – Pitts for 85 catches, 871 Yards and four TDs in 2025.
The advanced statistics of Kyle Pitts
With a new QB in the middle and finally healthy, Pitts starts to look like the player we saw during his electric Rookie season, where he was the first to have had 1,000 yards like Rookie since Mike Ditka … Long ago when face masks were optional.
Here he is in the most important advanced statistics for four weeks:
- #1 in target premium (+54.5%)
- #4 in route participation (91.8%)
- #8 in target share (18.3%)
- #12 In first downs per route -Run (0.089)
- #18 in target divorce (1.95)
- #21 in yards per route -Run (1.34)
The most important thing is that Pitts has become a familiar target for Michael Penix Jr. He has zero drops in the season, and Penix Jr. placed a perfect QB rating when focusing Pitts in week 4.
The name “Kyle Pitts” still activates PTSD for some fantasy managers, but if a competition is still considering him a risky active, this is a good chance to buy. He has solid use and rising chemistry with his QB. Use Pitts’ Week 5 Bye to your advantage in Dynasty Fantasy Football Trade – Negotiations – Maybe they need someone who can actually score points this week.
If the Pitts Stan I am, I would be very happy to land him for two second Rounders, for example. Maybe you can turn a player such as TJ Hockenson, David Montgomery or Bhayshul Tuten straight up for him. That is a deal that I would do to acquire it in a Te-Premium League. If this production has a lasting force, such a movement can be a long -term victory.
Sales: Te Dalton Kincaid, Buffalo Bills
Just like Pitts, it seems that Dalton Kincaid finally has his outbreak. After fought different injuries last year, the former First-Rounder seems healthy and is currently like the TE6 in PPR scoring, on average 12.5 ppg.
But is the turnout real? Let’s dig deeper.
Kincaid has been solid, but the use does not shout exactly “set-it-and-forget-it” te1. It is on average only 4.5 goals, 3.5 receptions and 45 yards per game. He splits Snaps with Dawson Knox and Jackson Hawes, which means he has a modest SNAP share of 47% (TE43) and a target share of 15.1% (TE22) to four weeks.
What Kincaid is currently holding is a strong efficiency when he is on the field and a career-high three trips to the end zone. He lives on TDs as my three-year-old lives on chicken nuggets and goldfish-it is currently working, but it is not good for the long term.

Dalton Kincaid’s 2025 receives efficiency
Attacking coordinator Joe Brady’s philosophy is “everyone eats.” If you have looked Hurry, He even wears a hat with the sentence on it. As long as that remains the case, nobody in this attack is hyper focused in the passing game. Josh Allen will spread it when he and James Cook don’t run over defenders.
If you can turn Kincaid for a first, or him a choice package to get Tyler Warren, do it. Otherwise you risk sticking to a man whose production can cool down as soon as the touchdowns dry up and the Snap share does not improve.

Hold/Buy: Wr Ladd McConkey, Los Angeles Chargers
What makes a difference a month. From January to the beginning of September, fantasy managers were simply struck with Ladd McConkey. The second Rounder from Georgia even exceeded the most optimistic expectations as a Rookie, with 82 catches, 1,149 yards and seven TDs.
Then came the playoff fireworks. In the wildcard loss of the Chargers, McConkey broke out for 14 goals, nine receptions, 197 yards and a TD.
That version sent his Dynasty Fantasy Football Trade value through the roof. All the low season, McConkey was routinely selected in the late second to early third rounds of startup concepts. His value peaked in May, when he was the WR9 at a certain moment on Keeptradecut.

Ladd McConkey’s value of 6 months Dynasty
Fast Vooruit a month in the 2025 season, and the VLAM is bubbling. Through four games, McConkey received in total:
- 27 goals, 16 receptions, 174 Yards and zero TDs
So where does that leave you behind? Hold on if you have it, buy if you don’t.
The volume is still there – McConkey sees almost seven goals per competition, in accordance with last year. He remains an elite parator (WR9 in target separation, 2.24 meters) but has just had no splashing games or TDs. Only one deep target and one red zone watch through four games to explain the disappointing box scores.

Ladd McConkey’s Advanced Statistics
If the McConkey manager panics in your competition and only focuses on the short struggles, this is the time to jump. You buy the dip on a young, polished route runner bound by a strong QB. Drive a single first-rounder and see if a deal is being done.
If you already have it, hold and wait for better days. They are coming. McConkey is currently overshadowed by Quentin Johnston and Keenan Allen, but that will not last forever. Allen is 33 and plays for a one -year -old deal. Although Johnston is currently hot, he has already shown inconsistency in his young career.
Dynasty is about playing the long game, and McConkey still looks like one of the safer bets to make in WR after 2025.
