DWCS: Mandel Nallo Eying UFC Vancouver card for debut

Las Vegas – “rat waste” is now a UFC hunter. Well, Mandel Nallo is anyway.

Canada’s Nallo, who may have dropped his old nickname (more about it later), has been on the short list of many hardcore MMA fans and prospect watchers, but on 36 there was a question whether the Bellator MMA -Aluin would ever reach the UFC. That question was answered on Tuesday, when Dana White Nallo (14-3, 1NC) signed a first round finish of Samuel Silva, his fifth consecutive victory in general.

It is back to the major competitions for Nallo, which noticed that the regional circuit was not an easy place in recent years.

“If you are not in a major, the world is rough. Especially now the MMA game is difficult,” the lightweight told the media, including Cageside Press Backstage in the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. “And for a man who is skilled, nobody wants to fight against you, the money is rough. So it is proof from my coaches, my team and my family because I kept up with it. Because I am going to do the work.”

The support that Nallo has received over the years added: “Has been something that you could never even come close to repayment.”

Nallo is known for exciting finishes and has risen to the occasion after he has won regional titles, both as an amateur and professional. The Contender series was another solid example, with a right hand that dropped his opponent in an explosive way.

“When things come up with things, I am that guy. I will do something crazy,” Nallo said. “And I am not crazy in my life. I am hanging around, I train, I do nothing. But when I am in the cage, it is strange. Something is angry.”

Now that he has his foot in the door, Mandel Nallo is ready to be busy. “I told Dana, run me. I want to work,” he unveiled, as far as possible to present a place on the UFC Paris card this weekend. Although that is unlikely (although as the recent history has shown, not impossible), there is still a date on the radar.

“October 18 in Vancouver, I was born there, I will certainly fight there. So that is the plan, just to work as hard as possible and to get where I want to be,” he said.

Regarding its old “rat waste” nickname, Nallo leaves it in the past, kind of. “Maybe it is like an alter ego or something. The website is still gone, people can still buy things on it, my merchandus. Maybe that is my brand, and my nickname is something else. I don’t know, we’re still out. If you still want to call me it, it’s good. I am sure I am no longer” rattles. ” ‘
