Las Vegas – Welcome to the UFC, Louis Jourdain.
Jourdain, younger brother of the Canadian UFC star Charles “Air” Jourdain, earned a way to the promotional care of a second-hand choke entry of Magno Dias on the Contender Series this week.
“I am so blessed to be here. I have worked hard on it, so it is even more worthwhile,” Jourdain (9-3) told the media to the religious couplings, including Cageside Press after the fight.
Louis Jourdain has been Cageide with his brother, is no stranger to the bright lights of the UFC. “I saw it so often that it is experience in my pocket, so it’s nothing new,” he said. “The nerves were there, but it is something I already saw, and I could imagine it. Which is very good about having Charles as a brother is, every mistake he has made over the years, I could see it. And now I can correct them.”
“I am like a new version of him when he was young, but more mature. All his experience, it comes to me. From now on it will be a good run in the UFC. And also for him; from now on we are going to terrorize the 135LB division.”
As for a UFC debut date, while he has a medical suspension, Jourdain was that the doctor was open to tidy up, depending on how things go. And he is already being asked to be part of the next Canadian date of the UFC.
“Maybe you will see me in Vancouver in two weeks. That would be very nice.”
