UFC Witte Huis for Lincoln Memorial road-ins, fireworks and more
According to a report from The Wall Street JournalThe weightings of the event will take place in the Lincoln Memorial in Washington DC, only meters away from the White House. The fighting will take place on the southern lawn of the site of the White House, and hunters may be able to warm up in the historic building itself.
Planning problems forced the UFC to specify its original plan to host the map on July 4, 2026, and will move the event to June. The event will help commemorate the 205th anniversary of the Independence of the United States as a nation.
Large screens are set up near the South Lawn and tickets are not sold for Vecht fans to participate. The presence is consolidated between US government officials, family and good friends of the hunters and other internal guests.
Extra details around UFC Witte House are expected to be unveiled in the coming months.
Jon Jones and Conor McGregor are only two names that have shown a great interest to appear on the map. But White recently concluded the comeback plans of Jones, and quoted in-depth concerns about the behavior of Jones outside the competitions.
McGregor has not fought anymore since he injured his leg against Dustin Poirier on UFC 264. He was supposed to return to the cage at UFC 303 last summer before he withdrew due to a toe injury.
