The Los Angeles Dodgers have activated right -handed pitcher Michael Kopech and Infielder/Outfielder Kim from the injured list.

The team added both Kopech and Kim to the active schedule. No corresponding movements were needed due to the extensive September schedule.
Kopech made only eight performances for the Dodgers in 2025 when he started the season late due to a shoulder decision and then came back to the injured list with right knee inflammation. The right -handed person has not allowed a point in seven innings this year.
After he joined the Dodgers with last year’s trade deadline, Kopech had an ERA of 1.13 over 24 performances last season. LA will need that kind of production of the right -handed, while the team tries to navigate who they can count to close games.
Although the Dodgers will probably select their closer together based on matchups, relievers must show that they can consistently be counted in situations with high leverage. Kopech, if he returns to full form, could certainly be one of those guys for the Dodgers -Bullpen.
As far as Kim is concerned, the Dodgers -smokie was sidelined in July with left -shoulder forestitis. He hits this season .304 with two home runs and 15 RBIs.
Where the Dodgers will use Kim on his return remains a mystery; However, there is the possibility that the Rookie will get some playing time in the left field while La navigates the gaping hole in the outfield.
“Of course we know that Hyesong can play second base,” said manager Dave Roberts. “We know he can play a short stop. So only see him in the left field, I think it just gives us a little more options.”
While the Dodgers are starting their road trip, the team has important reinforcements with the team in Kopech and Kim.
