The Rams presented Vesia with a jersey with the name “S. Vesia” on the back and the number 1. All Rams players signed the custom jersey, which was sent to the Vesia family.
Vesia posted a photo of the custom Rams jersey to his Instagram Story with the caption, “Thank you to the @rams for all the love and kindness.”
Vesia and his wife Kayla lost their newborn daughter Sterling last October.

Before the Fall Classic, the Dodgers announced that Vesia would be away from the team due to a “deeply personal family matter.” Although the left-hander was not with the team, Vesia received overwhelming support from the baseball community.
The Dodgers bullpen wore hats with the number 51 on the side as a show of support for their teammate. The Toronto Blue Jays bullpen followed suit and also honored Vesia by wearing his number on their caps.
Following the Dodgers’ World Series run, the Vesia family announced the tragic news of their daughter’s passing.
“Our little angel, we love you forever and you are always with us,” the Vesias wrote on Instagram.
“Our beautiful daughter went to heaven on Sunday, October 26. There are no words to describe the pain we are going through, but we will hold her in our hearts and cherish every second we had with her.
“Thank you to the Dodgers for their understanding and support during this time. Our baseball family showed up for us and we couldn’t do this without them,” the Vesias continued.
“Thank you Dodger Nation, Blue Jays organization and all baseball fans for your love and support. We have seen ALL your posts, comments and messages. It has brought us so much comfort.”
Vesia’s future with the Dodgers was unclear until the team picked up the reliever’s $3.65 million club option in early November. The left-hander will be a key part of the Dodgers bullpen in 2026.
While the Rams fell short in the NFC Championship Game, the team’s gift to Vesia is a reminder of the unity among LA sports teams.
