After a stunning spinning elbow finish to end the night at Nouch UFC the night on Saturday, Diego Lopes doubled during the Bonus money event.
Lopes has stored fighting against Nerd Jean Silva in the main event of the Fight Night Card. An adopted Mexican of species (a Brazilian fight from Mexico), Lopes succeeded a title fight loss for Alexander Volkanovski with one of the biggest finishes of his career. Not a bad way to bounce back. As far as Silva is concerned, he did not really fought smartly, but fought for entertaining and shares in half of the Fight of the Night bonus at NOCHE UFC. Lopes gets that, plus a version of the night bonus, a total of $ 100,000.
That is what fighters in the Canelo Alvarez vs. Terence Crawford Boxing Card who later broadcast that same night deserved for a single bonus. That card is co-promoted by Zuffa/TKO boxing, or whatever it is called.
Hopefully the UFC will follow with a promise to increase bonuses for its own hunters as soon as the Paramount+ Deal starts in 2026.
The remaining version of the night bonus at NOCHE UFC in San Antonio, Texas on Saturday went to Santiago Luna. The Mexican made his promotion on the map and had to overcome some adversity against Quang Le before he got a knockout halfway through the opening round.
