Wilder returned relatively recently to the profit column when he broke a losing skid by stopping Tyrell Anthony Herndon in June. Conversely, for Andy Ruiz Jr., he has not fought anymore since he was fighting Jarrell Miller last year. Ruiz achieved victories over Chris Arreola and Luis Ortiz prior to that Miller -similar.
Andy Ruiz is perhaps best known for his enormous upset victory over Anthony Joshua to become the uniform heavyweight champion. Ruiz would bring those heavyweight straps back to Joshua in an immediate rematch. Both attacks took place in 2019.
Ruiz’s referred Instagram Post was credited “Soon to a ring near you”. This gave a number of sweet science enthusiasts the perception that this Wilder vs. Ruiz Clash maybe earlier than later official.
Deontay Wilder and what his next step could be
With Andy Ruiz who teases a Deontay Wilder, some fans are wondering what could really be for ‘The Bronze Bomber’. It seemed an extremely short time since there was discourse about working on a fight between Wilder and MMA’s linear heavyweight champion, Francis Ngannou. Ngannou has had a few boxing courses against generation talents in Tyson Fury and the aforementioned Anthony Joshua, who falls short in both trips.
Many thought that a Ngannou-Wilder fight was logical because of their profiles as huge KO artists. But it would also give ‘The Predator’ a chance to throw with the full heavyweight Trifecta of the 2010 scene under the Queensberry rules.
