Multiple reports suggest that a large number of names are being discussed with regard to the boys in blue.

When he spoke with the media, manager Dave Roberts admitted that landing a relief pitcher is of the utmost importance. However, getting another bat in the line -up can also be something that the team pursues.
“There is always talk about relief pitching, especially with what we are going through,” Roberts said this weekend. He also said that “a potential bat” is something that the team “kicks the tires”.
