During the UFC Houston post-fight press conference, White was asked what he most wants to see Chimaev do. The UFC boss doesn’t want Chimaev to jump the gun (via MMA Junkie).
“I would like to see him defend his title at one weight first,” White said. “I’d like to see him defend his title before he talks about jumping around. Are you going to keep moving up in weight classes without defending? I’d rather see him defend.”

After the fight, Strickland insulted Chimaev and questioned the middleweight champion’s inactivity. Chimaev responded on social media by throwing an expletive at Strickland.
