D Mac’s Group 1 Golden Slipper at only his third start

Hall JNR had previously taken everything for him with the trained ideal beach of Justin Prentice, but the barrier draw was the most important factor with D Mac that pulled three and ideal beach in four. Hall JNR rightly thought he could lead and that is exactly how the race turned out.

The former new -Zealander D Mac, as expected, found the leadership with the ideal beach that was caught outside the leader. But when the field settled, Aiden allowed the Campo his smart Colt gambling to move Matty to go outside the leader. This gave iDeal Beach a One Out and One Back Trail with Wake Up Geoff behind the leader.

I am secretly at the back of the field, but he made three wide bell with El Mystero trying to follow.

D Mac had run his second quarter in 30.5 seconds and Hall JNR let him run in 27.3 seconds for the next quarter. Bettor Move Matty refused to admit and fights away and the ideal beach was tried to get a clear run in an attempt.

But D Mac just sprinted away again to turn home and he looked very comfortable to beat Wake Up Geoff with slightly less than six meters that narrowly the Goktor Matty. Ideal Beach was still looking for a run the house through the house. The winner’s mileage rate was 1.56.7.

Used to be trained and powered by Southland -trainer Brad Davis D Mac is from the Washington VC Mare Flashonbye who started nine times for Morris for Morris for two seconds and two -thirds

Two weeks ago D Mac looked the most impressive to win the Golden Slipper Prelude and his only run was a second place in Winton in April. The foal was then sold to Greg Richardson for Gary Hall SNR to train.

The Golden Slipper is the last of the two -year -old classics in the West and D Mac has certainly made a strong impression in just three starts.
