Want to know how to adjust TaylorMade Qi4D rescues to change loft and lie angles? We have a complete guide and adjustment table.
The TaylorMade Qi4D rescues are fully adjustable with a Hosel that gives you the ability to adjust the loft to increase or decrease your launch angle, but the standard Max and Max Lite models are not adjustable.
The amount of adjustments you can make varies from brand to brand, but the step-by-step guide below shows how to adjust the TaylorMade Qi4D hybrids.

Adjusting the attic corner of TaylorMade Qi4D rescues
There are a few simple steps you can take to adjust the loft angle of your hybrid. All you need is an adjustment tool or a wrench to get started.
Here’s how to customize TaylorMade Qi4D rescues:
1. Locate the screw on the sole of your TaylorMade Qi4D rescue device that secures the head to the shaft.
2. Using the wrench, loosen the screw by turning counterclockwise.
3. Once the screw is fully loosened, you can rotate the adjustable hose to a lower cage or a higher cage depending on your preference. You will notice the loft figure you had the club set to and you can rotate the shaft to up to 16 other options.
The available options are:
- Standard (STD): Standard setting with indicated loft, a square face angle and a standard lie angle
- Higher: Increases loft by up to +1.5°, closes the face by 3° and increases spin for a higher ball flight.
- Lower: Reduces loft to -1.5°, opens the face by 3° and reduces spin for a lower ball flight.
- Upright: Maintains the stated loft but increases the lie angle by 3°, which promotes a draw bias.
- Average settings: The Hosel allows 12 positions, with incremental adjustments of 0.5°-0.75° in loft and lie angle, and 1°-2° in face angle

4. When you have rotated the hosel to the desired loft, slide the shaft back into your club head. Your new loft will be visible through the window at most clubs.
5. Replace the screw and tighten it clockwise with the wrench. When it is fully tightened, you will hear a crank that sounds like the club head is cracking. At this point the screw is tightened as much as necessary.
Each time you want to adjust the hutch, repeat this process.
