CSA announces revised international men’s schedule – Cricket Fanatics Magazine

Cricket South Africa (CSA) has confirmed an adjustment to the international schedule for men for the 2025/26 season, with the Five-Match T20 International (T20i) series between the Proteas and West Indies reduced to three games, playing from 27-31 January 2026.

The decision follows the confirmation of the International Cricket Council (ICC) of the start date for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, with the support period of the tournament that now starts on January 31. As a result, the T20i series, which was set up on January 27 – February 6, has been revised to three games to handle the adapted international calendar.

In the series, Boland Park organizes the opening match in Paarl on Tuesday 27 January, before the teams move to the Highveld for the second meeting in Supersport Park in Centurion on Thursday 29 January.

The iconic pink day of this season, traditionally performed as a one -day international (ODI), will take place during the third T20i in DP World Wanderer’s Stadium in Johannesburg on Saturday 31 January. Pink Day has become one of the most celebrated events on the cricket calendar, and collecting funds and consciousness in the fight against breast cancer.

In addition, the 2025/26 season will also have a three-match Youth ODI series between South Africa U19S and India U19s in Willowmoore Park in Benoni from 03-07 January.

The series will form an important part of the preparation of both teams in the ICC under 19 Cricket World Cup 2026 for men, to be organized by Namibia and Zimbabwe at the beginning of next year.
