It looks like former two-division UFC star Conor McGregor and longtime girlfriend and mother of his four children, Dee Devlin, will soon get married.
The UFC star spoke about his personal evolution and relationship, describing Devlin as his “wife-to-be” and wearing a new ring while speaking at the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship press conference in Rome, Italy, earlier this week.
“I’m not here by chance. There is a higher power, God, that dictates my journey and all our journeys,” McGregor said at the press conference on Thursday.
“I have been living my life according to God’s word since I went on a spiritual journey around the last time you mentioned it in the last event. I am saved. I am healed.”
McGregor then continued the discussion, saying: “That’s why the world is in for a treat. My competitive spark that was once in my heart is now a roaring fire.
“I’m excited. Right now I have to dial myself in and go in, and I did that, and now I’m at a stage where I’m coming back and showing what I’m about.
“Now I am here with my own family, my beautiful children, my fiancé and soon to be wife.”
McGregor and Devlin were engaged in 2000. She worked as a waitress and model before entering the MMA world, where she would become a business manager of sorts for her future husband.
The couple met in a nightclub in 2008 and as McGregor’s MMA career took off, she left her own job to support him full-time, managing his finances, training schedules and promotional events.
They share four children:

Rián (born May 2021)
Mack (born November 2023)
Their relationship has faced public criticism, including McGregor’s 2024 civil assault case (in which he was ordered to pay almost €250,000) and accusations of infidelity. Devlin has stood by him, posting on Instagram in 2024: “No one has the right to comment on our relationship – we trust and love each other.” McGregor has publicly apologized for past mistakes.
