Ballmer told ESPN earlier that he introduced Leonard to aspiration, but was not involved in the approval agreement between the two parties.
The NBA investigates the allegations that the approval agreement has been concluded to bypass the limit.
NBA Insider Jake Fischer reported that the investigation will probably only be completed by the clippers after the NBA All-Star Game from 2026.
Aspiration presented bankruptcy in March after being accused by the Ministry of Justice of fraud.
