Chicago fights to the last zero, but all fails the same if they fall close to Seattle, 8-6

The Chicago White Sox briefly came in a back and forth competition that saw most of the fireworks in the early innings. While the attack of the Good Guys showed signs of life during the game, they could not eventually overcome the explosive start of the Mariners.

The South Siders went quietly in the top of the first and withdrew to only nine throws. Then Mariners Slugger Josh Naylor wasted for time and launched a towering two-run shot of 450 feet to put Seattle on the plate in the bottom of the frame. I don’t understand why we keep pitching for this guy. Jonathan Cannon had to grind through the inning and needed 24 throws to escape.

The Chicago attack replied in the second time. Luis Robert Jr. Led away with a single, wiped his 30th bag of the season and hurried to the third on a wild pitch. This was the scene for Curtis Mead, a prospect that was acquired in the Adrian Houser Trade and making his debut for the SOX, which hit an RBI single to bring the score to 2-1.

However, the rally was demolished because the JP Crawford of the Mariners made a fun game on a Michael A. Taylor grounder to end the inning.

The Ms broke things open in the bottom of the second. After a walk and a single, La Pantera made a spectacular run-saving dip on a fly-out, but unfortunately the inning continued to roll. Two walks and a single from Cal Raleigh plates a few for Seattle, and then Julio Rodríguez crushed a three-run bomb to push the lead to 7-1. Tyler Alexander came in to stop the bleeding and got the final via Strikeout.

The SOX tried to claw back in the third. Brooks Baldwin hit a single, went on a wild field and came by to score on an Andrew Benintendi -Basis knock after Lenyn Sosa had worked a walk. Robert pulled a free pass to load the bases, but Colson Montgomery started to swing and Mead flew out and left the rally stranded.

The middle innings were quieter, in which the violations of both teams were for the most part retired, including a piece where Alexander mowed 10 straight Mariners stroke people.

The good boys assembled another comeback attempt in the seventh. Taylor led away with a two-bagger and after a strikeout from Baldwin, Mike Tauchman discharged a 405-foot two-run Homer in the middle.

Lenyn Sosa immediately followed with its own solo recording, where the shortage was cut to 7-5. The rally ended there, with Benintendi who bumped and Robert went up.

The Mariners met on an insurance run in the second place of the seventh of Steven Wilson, who replaced Alexander. Rodríguez worked a walk with one from one from. Nijlor followed with a single moving J-Rod to third place, and Eugenio Suárez cashed in with a pocket fly, which extended their lead to 8-5.

At the top of the ninth, the South Siders organized a last, Valiant charge while Taylor left with a solo connection, which cut the shortage to 8-6.

Back-to-back walks to Baldwin and Tauchman put the draw on board, but the revival stuck. SOSA turned out, Benintendi flew away and Robert Jr. Got up to end the game.

I will give credit where credit is due. The boys fought, but 14 ks will make a comeback quite difficult.

The SOX will try to save the last game of the series tomorrow in a late afternoon match at 3:10 pm CST.
