Chelsea have set their sights on FC Porto’s prolific centre-forward Samu Aghehowa as a possible option to strengthen Liam Rosenior’s attack. TEAMtalk.
After a proposed move to Chelsea fell through in the summer of 2024, the 6ft 1in centre-forward joined Porto and has been in spectacular goalscoring form for the 30-time Portuguese champions.
In 76 appearances for the Dragões, he has directly contributed to 49 goals, finding the net 45 times and providing four assists, 27 of which came during a remarkable first season at the club.
This prolific form shows no signs of slowing down this season, with 20 goals and one assist already in 31 appearances for Francesco Farioli’s league leaders, inevitably attracting interest from other clubs.

Rosenior has expressed a desire to strengthen his position at centre-forward and is monitoring Aghehowa ahead of a possible move, with Atletico Madrid’s Julian Alvarez also being monitored, the report said.
