CHARLES TOWN JOCKEYS

Juan Nunez, Arnaldo Bocachica and JD Acosta all won four times last week to beat the CT colony… Maximo Chilo and Gerald Almodovar won three each, while Moises Santaella, Julio Jorge and Denis Araujo won twice each… In total, 18 jockeys won at least one race… Bocachica’s 19 wins are the most to date, with Santaella (15 wins) and Acosta (14) his nearest pursuers… Acosta (3.31) and Araujo (2.70) are the top two in terms of additional wins and the only two locals with more than 2.0 additional wins so far in the season; added wins compares a rider’s actual wins to the number of wins the odds predicted, with a positive total meaning the rider won more races than his or her horses’ odds would suggest… The range for all riders is 3.31 to (-5.17)…
