Center Hills Country Club in State College, Pennsylvania, has approved a $6 million renovation project that will transform the club’s recreational offerings with a new pool complex and racquet facility. This investment represents one of the most significant facility upgrades in the club’s 100-year history.
The project is scheduled to start in May 2026 and is expected to be completed in the summer of 2027. Highlights of the renovation include:
– New aquatic complex: a resort-style lap pool, a non-entry children’s pool, an expanded terrace, shaded seating and casual poolside dining.
– Racket Facilities: Modern tennis and pickleball courts with improved lighting and an indoor pickleball facility open all year round.
– Supporting facilities: a new pool house, extensive parking and improved landscaping to complement the facilities.
“These upgrades reflect our commitment to investing in the future of Center Hills,” said Thomas Smith, Club President and General Manager. “They will take our amenities to the next level, strengthen our community and ensure Center Hills remains a premier private club in the Center region.”
Founded in 1921, Center Hills Country Club has proudly served members and their families for more than a century, offering championship golf, racquet sports, water sports, dining and social events.
