Manchester United eventually drew 2-2 against Nottingham Forest on Saturday afternoon.

The Red Devils took the lead in the first half when Casemiro nodded home from a corner.

A crazy first five minutes of the second half saw United go 1-2 down as Morgan Gibbs-White and Nicolo Savana put the Tricky Trees ahead.

United finally found the equalizer in the 81st minute when Amad struck the ball home in spectacular fashion for the away fans.

The Peoples Person asked its readers who impressed them most during the game.

Casemiro

50% of United fans voted Casemiro player of the match.

The Brazilian has regained his form this season and is the first-choice midfielder alongside captain Bruno Fernandes.

He nodded in his third goal of the season and his second in two games, as he also scored against Brighton and Hove Albion last week.

Matthijs de Ligt

13% of readers thought the Dutch defender was the best player on the field for the Red Devils.

The former Bayern man has been in incredible form this season and could well be Ruben Amorim’s first-choice defender.

De Ligt has been a physical specimen in matches and has rarely allowed opposing attacking players to breathe over the course of the season.

Bryan Mbeumo

12% voted for Mbeumo as United’s best player that afternoon.

As usual, the Cameroonian was a threat to the opposition goal and much of United’s good work came through him. However, he failed to score as he had done in his previous two games for the Red Devils.

Senne Lammens

12% of readers thought the Belgian goalkeeper was the man of the match from a United perspective.

He did concede two goals, but neither could he be blamed for.

Lammens also made some good stops and United remain unbeaten with the young keeper in the net as his impressive start as United’s number one continues.

The rest

10% of the fanbase who voted chose someone who wasn’t on the list, perhaps some are thinking of Amad after his glorious strike.

Matheus Cunha was also one of the other options, but he only received 3% of the votes.
