(Woodstock, VA – 9/14/2025) —- Drivers William Carter & Eric Davis started the opening weekend of the Shenandoah Downs Fall Meet in style with four-win afternoons on Saturday. Carter, who scored his first Harness Racing win, once four years ago in the Woodstock Oval, connected to three of Bryson Dunning’s experienced Pacers – Only Thetuffsurvive, Gettor are Oscar A and Rebellentie. The trio -registered career wins 65, 28 and 83 respectively. Carters celebrated victory came on board Jimmy Vian ‘Sweet Fancy Toe.
Davis, who celebrated his 29th birthday, reached the winners circle with Rightherighnow from Alex Goldin, Oscar Johnson’s Thosesummernights, Jennifer Petrelli’s Kenobi and Lou Goans’ Leroy Gibbs in the final.
Three horses bound for the fastest miles of the weekend, 1:54 3/5, including Dunning’s 11-year-old Mach three Rebelling rebellion that Charles Myers’ Hillbillypacinhill defeated $ 9,000 Pacing function with half a length in Saturday. Kayla Pressel’s Legacy Cut First Half Fractions from: 26 3/5 and: 55 4/5 before the final winner took over half over.
