The WTT meeting series is in Brazil this week and the best seed is Brazilian Native Hugo Calderano. The other men’s head lines this week in Foz Do Iguacu are Benedikt Duda, Dang Qiu, Oh Jungsung and Dimitrij OVTcharov.
Calderano has won two games 3-1 so far and will play the quarterfinals against Yokiya UDA later today. In the second quarter, the quarterfinals are set by seed with Oh Junsung and Yuta Tanaka opposite Saturday night. In the lower half of the draw, Dimitrij OvTcharov against Dang Qiu are on the way to the semi -final on Sunday with at least one German. And second seed Benedikt Duda has been dominant so far – now in the last quarterfinals to face Kazuki Hamada.
Five of the top 8 seeds have made the quarters in ladies’ snonbles. Miwa Harimoto has set up with a few 3-0 wins. She will be confronted from the Joo Chonhui from Korea, who defeated Bruna Takahashi in Brazil. Honoka Hashimoto and Manika Batra will be confronted on Saturday evening, just like Will Miyu Nagasaki and Cheng I-Ching, and Sakura Yokoi and Satsuki Odo.
