Table Tennis England, the Howard Center and the Hertfordshire Table Tennis Association came together on Saturday 23 August to organize the first Ping Pong Social Event ever in the shopping center.
The event was the first of its kind and took place in the Ping Pong Parlor of the shopping center, which opened its doors in January.
The event lasted a few hours between 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. with activities that took place in three tables, with traditional coaching in addition to fun skills and challenges. All participants who were present took a trophy home to indicate their participation in the event.
It is hoped that this will be the first in a series of events that take place in the Salon the following year to promote table tennis in the area.
