Under the comments of Bradford fans on BBC Sport After this 3-1 away victory at Cardiff:
‘Great explanation from Bradford. I am not sure if even the most unicorn, insanely optimistic city fan could have believed that we would be the top in this phase of the season, or a phase TBF. Huge praise for Alexander, the coaching team, the recruitment team and in fact all involved with the club. Long way to go, but in the moon with this start. I love the ride! ‘
“This side continues to surprise me. Unreal effort again from the powerful chickens. Fair Play Mr Alexander #Ctid ‘
‘Wonderful achievements by Bradford – Freely running in attack and look solid in defense. It can continue for a long time! ‘
“I just can’t accuse Bradford City, exciting team to watch with a brilliant manager.”
‘The chickens up! This is brilliant. ‘
Lifelong Newcastle United Fan Andy Cook looked up yesterday from the Bradford bank in Cardiff, but could still live his St James’ Park Dream.
When Newcastle V Bradford was pulled out of the hat for the third round of Carabao Cup, he says; “Shouted the house down”!
The fan of Lifelong Newcastle United comes from Bishop Auckland and the now 34 -year -old striker has had a long career in people like Carlisle, Tranmere, Walsall, Grimsby and Mansfield.
However, it is in Bradford City where Andy Cook might have had his greatest success. Since he came to the Bantams in 2021, he scored 69 goals at a speed of almost one every two games.
Still on their way back to full fitness after a serious knee injury, the experienced striker hopes that he will finally come to the St James’ park pitch.
Andy Cook will be 35 next month, so it is very likely that this could be his very last chance.
Here hope for a comfortable profit from Newcastle United in three days and Andy Cook will get at least a few minutes on the SJP field.
Andy Cook contradicts The Yorkshire Post – September 10, 2025:
“It’s my dream to play in a competitive game, so hopefully I can be involved
“I shouted the house down … I am not even joking.
“I immediately told the physios.
“I sent them a message and said,” I don’t care what you say, I’m ready. ”
“I don’t think it works that way, but I clearly told them.
“I have never been to the field in St James’ Park, so to do that would be unreal.
“Dreams have been made of that.”
