Only five of the last 20 top-flight meetings between Liverpool and Arsenal have seen fewer than four goals scored.
In fact, 79 goals have been scored in the last twenty league games, of which Liverpool’s share is 50. The Reds have scored in each of the last nine league visits to Arsenal since a goalless draw in August 2015.
There has been just one goalless draw in both sides’ last 53 league matches – at the Emirates in 2015.
Liverpool’s recent history in the Emirates
Liverpool’s last win at the Emirates came in the third round of the FA Cup two years ago, winning 2-0 with a Jakob Kiwior own goal after 80 minutes, followed by a Luis Diaz strike in stoppage time.
At Arsenal in the Premier League era, the Reds won nine of 33 visits with twelve draws and twelve defeats.
They have lost three of their last twelve visits to Arsenal in league and cup: in July 2020 (2-1), 3-2 in October 2022 and 3-1 in February 2024.
Liverpool have not won any of their last three league visits to Arsenal, conceding eight goals in those games.
Four of the last six league matches, home and away, have ended in a draw.
Arsenal have won three of their last 21 league matches and lost ten.
Liverpool is the only team that has been able to stop Arsenal from scoring

Arsenal have only been defeated in one of their last 26 matches (14 wins, 11 draws) against other ‘big-six’ clubs. That happened at Anfield last August, ending a 22-match unbeaten run in such competitions.
They, along with Sunderland, are the only teams in English football’s top three divisions not to have lost at home.
The Gunners have taken 28 points from a possible 30 at the Emirates this season, with only Man City avoiding defeat on the pitch in the top flight in September.
Liverpool are the only team to stop Arsenal from scoring in any of their 29 games in all competitions this season. They scored in each of the last 25.
Liverpool’s victory over Arsenal in August was the Reds’ first win in their last seven league matches since a 2-0 win at the Emirates in March 2022.
Liverpool have failed to score in just one of their last 31 away league games – against Manchester City in November.
Dominik Szoboszlai became the 17th different Liverpool player to score a direct free-kick in the Premier League era when he scored against Arsenal in August.
