Brabus has worked on the Mercedes-AMG GT63S E-performance to make this, the Brabus 1000. Although the name is not very imaginative, the improved coupe serves a number of large numbers that you would expect from the German tuning house.

To begin with, the Standard Car’s 4.0 liter Twin-Turbo V8 petrol engine has changed to now have a relocation of more than 4.4 liters (4,407 cc to be precise). In the release, the company points out that peak couple had to be electronically limited to 1,050 Nm, presumably to retain the powertrain that continues to include an AMG Speedshift MCT 9G Nine gears Multi-Cutch Automatic gearbox and AMG Performance 4MATIC+ All-Wheel Drive system.

Together with the unchanged electric motor (with a gearbox with two gears) rated on 204 PS (201 hp or 150 kW) and 320 Nm of torque, the Brabus 1000 lives its name with a total system output of 1,000 PS (986 hp or 735 kW) and 1,820 Nm.

Again, to protect the transmission components, the maximum peak couple is called back to 1,620 Nm. The hybrid engine meets the Euro 6D ISC-FCM emission standard, please note, with accreditation from the German Federal Ministry of Transport.

For comparison: the arrangement of the stock car is assessed on 816 PS (805 hp or 600 kW) and 1,420 Nm, so you look at a substantial power reinforcement with the Brabus 1000. The company also offers its sports springs that have been developed together with KW, which are adjustable in height, so that you can lower the riding height to 20 mm.

Regarding the interior, it gets a good help from black leather with quilting that extends to the floor mats and even the boat lining. There is also a Dinamica headliner, a lot of carbon fiber finish and specific elements with a relief ’77’ logos that indicate the establishment of Brabus’ in 1977.
