Early Friday morning the High Court from Bombay received a bomb threat via e -mail. However, the police have reported that the search did not deliver suspects and resumed legal proceedings in time without interruptions. This is the second incident in recent days, after an earlier threat that led to a temporary evacuation, although no explosives were discovered at the time.
Authorities have not yet identified credible evidence with regard to the e -mail threat. The police actively investigate the origin of the message and seriously treat the case because of the earlier threats against the Supreme Court.
A similar threat was sent to the official e -mail of the court, so that the legal proceedings were put in legal proceedings on 12 September. That threat was later established as a hoax, because no suspicious items were found.
A Senior police officer said: “An e -mail from the bomb threat was received by the Bombay HC authorities in the afternoon. A thorough search was carried out, but nothing was found suspicious. It turned out to be a hoax -e -mail.”
