Feierstein brings more than 30 years of experience. Most recently he was COO of Hamilton Insurance Companyan insurance broker and benefit administration provider, from January 2025 to December 2025.
Between March 2024 and December 2025, he was also the founder and Chief Operating Officer of Open Castle Inc.a global credit facilitation platform. According to Better’s press release, Feierstein will remain as a strategic advisor to Open Castle.
“Throughout my career, I have focused on guiding companies through rapid growth transformations. My experience has reinforced the belief that meaningful change is made possible when leadership across the organization is aligned around the same vision,” said Feierstein.

Feierstein has also worked in C-suite roles for companies such as EasyKnock, University of Phoenix And Apollo Education Group, SLM Corp. (earlier Sally Mae) And McKinsey & Co. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Tufts University and a master’s degree in business administration from Harvard Business School.
