The results of the controversial best employees of the best employees will be explained today, after a fiercely disputed poll that was held on Monday that saw a rare alliance between Uddhav Tackeray’s Shiv Sena (UBT) and Raj Tackeray’s Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) Facle Off.

The election has caused new political speculation over a broader alliance between the two Thakeray -Neven and nieces prior to the upcoming local body elections in Maharashtra.

The Shiv Sena (UBT) and MNS came together under the ‘Utkarsh Panel’ and played a total of 21 candidates for the 21-person board of directors. Of these, 18 of the Shiv Sena (UBT), two of the MNS, and one represented the Association of Planne Castes and planned tribes in line with the alliance. The movement marks an important shift in state politics, because the two traditional rival parties joined forces for the first time in a public competition.

The elections registered an impressive turnout of 83.69 percent, with 12,625 of the 15,093 eligible members who cast their votes at 35 polling stations at Best Depots. The Society consists of existing and retired employees of Mumbai’s Civic Transport company, the best (Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport), making it a strategically important cooperative. For years, society is dominated by the best Kamgar Sena, which is tailored to the Factation of Uddhav Tackeray.

The competition has not only intensified the rivalry between the Thakkeray Alliance and the BJP, but has also broadened the political implications for the upcoming Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections, one of the richest bourgeois bodies in India. The current poll is seen as a test area for the effectiveness of the Sena (UBT) -MNS partnership, especially since the MNS traditionally had a limited presence within the best employee base.

BJP MLC Prasad Lad led the ‘Shramik Sahkar Samruddhi panel’, which positioned itself as the most important challenger of the Thakeray-stundled panel. A total of five panels were in the fight, including one of Union Leader Shashank Rao and another supported by the Shiv Sena-Faction-Faction-Faction-Faction-Faction-led by Eknath Shind.

In anticipation of the survey, the campaign became bitter, with allegations and counter-ingels from both sides. BJP’s Prasad Lad accused SHIV Sena leaders of Financial Non -Management and abuse of the funds of the credit company for personal benefits, including the purchase of bungalows and luxury cars. The Economic Delices Wing (EOW) reportedly started a probe in the case.

In turn, MNS leader Sandep Deshpande shared a video on social media that claimed that voters were bribed with cash. He claimed that a member of the Credit Society received a pamphlet with an envelope with two 500 notes in and called it an attempt to ‘buy voices’. Dshpande said that a formal complaint would be submitted to the election officer.

Despite these tensions, the poll remained largely peaceful. Suhas Samant, chairman of the best Kamgar Sena, said that voting went smoothly and expressed confidence in a major victory for the Utkarsh panel. According to Samant, the rise of the voter was 80 percent, although official figures later confirmed at 83.69 percent.

Political observers note that the election has sent a strong message about the possible consolidation of opposition groups against the BJP and the Shiv Sena Shiv Sena in the state. Although the basic strength of the MNS is in the best limited, this election has enabled the two parties to test their combined influence and present a united front to the electorate.

The results, which are expected later today, will determine whether the rare partnership of the Thakeray Brothers can dismiss the BJP-stundled contenders and continue their dominance over the influential cooperative body.
