They chased a target of 126 runs in 13.2 overs after Josh Hazlewood delivered a match-winning spell with the new ball in the first innings.

India have made major changes to their line-up after losing the second T20I. Instead of Sanju SamsonHarshit Rana and Kuldeep Yadav, the Men in Blue brought in Jitesh Sharma, Washington Sundar and Arshdeep Singh. Suryakumar did not mention the reason behind the changes. However, there are no reports of injuries to the players who were on the bench.
Meanwhile, Australia had to make a forced change as the in-form Josh Hazlewood was rested for this match and he was replaced by Sean Abbott in the playing XI.
