Cryptopotato Reported during the weekend about the next big thing in the development of the entire PI network ecosystem. For the first time since the launch of the Open Network earlier this year, the team behind the project organized a hackathon, with which users can receive rewards in the form of native token.

The platform was opened for new registrations from 15 August. Each team can consist of an unlimited number of people, but all members must pass on the PI network science procedures to receive the prizes.

What is especially important about today, August 21, is the fact that this is the date on which the Hackathon starts. As the team explained, the event starts today and runs almost two months, with the last entry on October 15. An optional check -in in the middle is planned for September 19.

The idea behind this event is to encourage pioneers to develop and build applications that improve the usability of native token, ranging from payments and services to creative, community -driven solutions. All Pi-driven apps must meet the guidelines of the MAINSTET list and deliver tangible value to the community.

Users are allowed and even encouraged to use some of the Native PI network tools, such as the Brainstorm app, the developer portal and the recently released PI App Studio.

The prices

Since this is perhaps the most important part of the hackathon for many users, we will concentrate on the actual tangible rewards that are eligible for a maximum of eight teams. There will be judges who will evaluate the apps on the basis of PI tools, long-term potential, onion/ux, coordination with community needs and more. All apps must be uploaded to the PI Developer Portal and a demo video and a submission form.

In total, the core team gives 160,000 PI -Tokens away in the following way:

• 1st place – 75,000 Pi
• Senior – 45,000 Pi
• 3rd place – 15,000 Pi
• Honorable mentions (maximum 5 teams) – each 5,000 Pi

Given the meaning of today for the event and all participants who want to participate, token PI Network has risen by 2.5% despite the sale of the wider market. Pi has tapped $ 0.36, which is more than 7% higher than the low of all time on August 6. Nevertheless, it remains active 88% south of its ATH registered at the end of February.
