BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes predicted Zcash will surpass Ripple’s XRP, while Arkham Intelligence said it is dumping Ethereum and other cryptos.

All Hayes wants for Christmas is ZEC
In a follow-up X-post, Hayes said that all he wants for Christmas is ZEC.
Zcash is currently the 12th largest cryptocurrency with a market cap of $11.014 billion. XRP ranks fourth with a market capitalization of over $135.78 billion.
Hayes’ interest in ZEC comes amid a bullish rally for the altcoin in recent weeks. The privacy coin is up more than 22% in the past week, 217% in the past month and 1,628% in the twelve months.
Despite Hayes’ comments, the stock is down 4% over the past 24 hours to trade at $672.77 as of 2:04 a.m. EST, according to CoinMarketCap.
Earlier this week, Hayes predicted that the ZEC/BTC pair will rise to 0.2, from $0.00714 currently, according to TradingView facts. If his prediction comes true, ZEC would gain approximately 2,701% against the leading crypto.
Recently, Hayes also urged investors who hold ZEC on centralized exchanges to withdraw their crypto into self-custodial wallets “and lock them down.”
Hayes dumps other cryptos
While Hayes may be bullish on ZEC, the crypto mogul appears to have trimmed many positions in other digital assets during the recent market downturn.
In an X-post earlier today, on-chain analytics firm Lookonchain, citing data from Arkham Intelligence, said Hayes is “heavily dumping his bags.”

According to the post, Hayes sold 260 ETH worth $820K, 2.4 million ENA worth $651K, 640K LDO worth $480K, 1,630 AAVE worth $289K, and 28,670 UNI worth $209K.
ETH, UNI and AAVE are up 1%, 3% and 0.5% respectively in the last 24 hours. Conversely, ENA and LDO fell by more than 1% and 0.4%.
