Arsenal vs Manchester City – Our combined XI

Arsenal vs Manchester City – Our combined XI

Arsenal and Manchester City meet this afternoon in the Premier League, the latest competition in a modern rivalry. There has been a lot of needle between these parties in recent campaigns, because the two compete for the big prizes.

Prior to their confrontation in North Londs, we chose our Arsenal and Manchester City combined with XI.

Arsenal vs Manchester City – Combined XI

Goalkeeper: David Raya – Arsenal

Undoubtedly the most difficult decision about the team magazine, where City has strengthened their team this summer with the addition of Man Mountain Gianluigi Donnarumma.

Despite the impressive debut of Donnarumma, David Raya takes his place in goal. The Spaniard has collected an incredible catalog of rescues in an arsenal shirt, including a beautiful fingertip stop from Chris Wood, last weekend.

Right back: Jurrien Timber-Arsenal

Stand up calmly as one of Europe’s best right backs. The biggest compliment that you can give wood is that he could probably play almost any position on the field.

Center-back: William Saliba-Arsenal

Half of the best center-back partnership of the Premier League. The Gunners have to admit a goal with Saliba on the field this season. A real Rolls-Royce, to use a somewhat over used sentence.

Center-back: Gabriel-Arsenal

The steel next to Saliba’s silk. Saliba often takes the most compliments, but Gabriel can be impressive. A monster in the air, his duel with Erling Haaland will be a decisive battle this afternoon.

Left-Back: Josko Gvardiol-Manchester City

Josko Gvardiol breaks up the arsenal dominance of our backline, with the Croatian a huge talent. The player of the year of last season in the Etihad managed Gvardioland the consistency while others around him faltered. Still only 23, heaven is the limit.

Midfield: Rodri – Manchester City

How Manchester City is happy that Rodri is back. The Spaniard produced its best performance since the return of an ACL injury in midweek, while the Burgers saw Napoli in the Champions League. The crucial leadership from Pep Guardiola side.

Midfield: Declan Rice – Arsenal

Arsenal excluded Manchester City in the race to sign Declan Rice in 2023 and has since been rewarded. From lung -burning energy to brilliant balwinning and an increasing attacking output, Rice has emerged as a leader for Mikel Arteta.

Right: Phil Foden-Manchester City

Flickers from Foden’s best have returned to an encouraging sign for citizens in recent weeks. At best, Foden is a fantastic football player to watch with beautiful, neat accents and an interpretation of space. City will hope that FODEN can go back to his PFA player from 2023/24 PFA of the year this season.

Left -Wing: Royalty – Arsenal

A new arrival in Arsenal and previously praised by the opponents of this weekend. Eze was intended for a step in the summer after five excellent seasons in Crystal Palace. The sympathetic Londoner will inject new creativity into the front line of Arsenal.

Forward: Erling Haaland – Manchester City

A target machine. Haaland’s record in a shirt from Manchester City is now with 130 goals in just 151 performances. Is there a more ruthless goal scorer in world football? Maybe not.

Forward: Viktor Gyokees – Arsenal

Viktor Gyokeres completes a Scandinavian Strikeforce in our combined XI, after he joined Arsenal in the summer after an absurd goal record in Sporting Lisbon.

Despite some criticism, he has already scored three goals in four Premier League performances. Arsenal will hope that he can be the difference maker in collisions of this size.
