Arsenal and Chelsea have done a great job of rebuilding their squads during this summer’s transfer window, especially the attacking departments, with the London rivals being among the biggest spenders not just within the Premier League, but across Europe.
Even though the Blues and the Gunners renewed themselves in the final third a few months ago, they remain keen to sign one of the continent’s top talents in Juventus striker Kenan Yildiz, following his exceptional performances for the Bianconeri.
Offside has reported that their bid to do so next summer has been significantly strengthened as Juventus and Yildiz have been unable to make progress on a contract extension, which could potentially open the door for his departure in 2026.
Yildiz’s contract at the Allianz Stadium runs until June 2029, so next year Juventus would still have quite strong negotiating power to dictate the terms of his sale. The Turkish international’s asking price is expected to be close to £80 million.

Mikel Arteta was keen to sign a left winger for Arsenal, while Leandro Trossard is expected to leave soon. Eberechi Eze has played as a number 10 since his arrival from Crystal Palace and will likely compete with Martin Odegaard from now on.
Kenan Yildiz would be a great addition to the Arsenal squad. His chance creation, shooting from distance and ability to dribble past a number of defenders would likely make him the first choice in the team from the start.
Chelsea, meanwhile, could be just as interested in the player, despite signing a number of wingers in recent years. Yildiz’s performances in the final third were impressive enough for the Blues to consider spending big on him again.
Liverpool could also show interest as he has previously been linked with the 20-year-old. If he were to leave Juventus anytime soon, the Premier League is starting to look like his final landing spot.
