A Main-Draw singles joker sign in Australian Open 2026 is one of the most important incentives offered in this year’s Australian Pro Tour, which returns with an extensive calendar, new regional locations and a reformed schedule.

In an important boost for the series, the best-performing Australian male and female players will earn a coveted main table-joker signs in AO 2026 during the events, in what a career-defined chance could be for rising stars of the game.

The Pro Tour 2025-26 will expand deeper to Regional Australia, with new events added in Tamworth and Wagga Wagga, next to 15K tournaments in Tweed Heads and Brisbane. In another first, Darwin will organize professional tennis for women, giving fans on the Northern Territory a chair in the front row for international action.

The Wildcard race will be decided at three events in November:

In this shift, the ATP seconder at a higher level and ITF 50-75 events have moved from October to November, so that the top players of Australia can end their season at home and prepare for the summer on local courts.

“We are proud of how the Australian Pro Tour continues to grow as a world -class platform for emerging and established tennis players,” said Paul Kildry, director of the tennis of Tennis Australia.

“The additions to the calendar not only create more international playing opportunities on a home floor, but also bring the tour to new regions, giving tennis fans in more of the country the opportunity to watch professional tennis closer to home.

“With an AO head drawing Yoker sign on the line, there has never been a more exciting time for Australian players to compete with a genuine chance of making their Grand Slam breach here at home.”

The Australian Pro Tour from 2025-26 is now underway, with women’s competition in second heads and action by men in Brisbane.
