Ange Postecoglou says he is convinced that “results will come”, while he is trying to guide Nottingham Forest to a first victory under his steward.
European football will return to the city area for the first time in three decades on Thursday evening, when Bos meets the Danish Side Side FC Midtjylland in the Europa League.
Postecoglou, who took over as a manager last month after the resignation of Nuno Espírito Santo, has to chair another victory after his first five games, but states that his team “dominates in every aspect”.

“I think [a win] Would be useful, but for me it’s about the players, “said the 60-year-old.” They have embraced what we are trying to do. Since I came in, we do things differently and the players have bought it.

Postecoglou is strongly aware of the club’s European family tree and spoke before last month’s 2-2 draw at Real Betis of the excitement around Bos at the prospect to return to continental competition.
It was a theme on which the Australian returned to the eve of the Midtjylland visit when he paid tribute to the role of his predecessors in revitalizing the double European Cup winners.

“I’m really privileged,” said Postecoglou. ‘That is behind the work of boys like [former manager Steve Cooper] And Nuno, who have brought us so far. I am the beneficiary of that, and I don’t take that lightly.
“It is a privilege, but it is one that I look forward to – the responsibility to lead the club back to Europe for the first time in 30 years and hopefully to make a campaign to remember.
“What is even more important, it is something that this football club wants to do regularly, every season. The European nights are always special. After an absence of 30 years, I have the feeling that it will be one of those nights.”
