Something that the Dodgers has plagued throughout the season and remains just as common on this point in the season as always, is injuries.

Despite newly acquired Brock Stewart Landing on the injured list after just four games in a Dodgers-Uniform, and right-handed Tony Gonsolin undergoes seasonal operation (which will bear until 2026), President of Baseball Activities Andrew Friedman spoke about his lack of worries about the team of the team.

“I am not worried about our pitching. Once we are in a good place, I think it will be a real power for us. It does not help us to lose a game last night or something that played a week or two ago. They are frustrating. But if we make a bet, we think it will be a real force for us,” Friedman said.

“We feel good about the quality and depth of the arms that we have,” he added. “Now we have to get them back and make them healthy and keep our other boys healthy. But again, (we) have the feeling that this has a very legitimate chance of being the most talented pitching to we have ever had.”

Although it is usually unwise to rely on weapons currently on the injured list prior to the late season, there are still a few important players who re -confirm Friedman’s confidence.

Michael Kopech court rule emerged as one of the best relievers of baseball on his arrival in LA at last year’s trade deadline, but has only recorded eight games this season. He seems to be ready for a return at the end of August.

Tanner Scott has been suspended with left elbow inflammation since the end of July, but is already back to throw bullpen sessions pain -free. Kirby Yates hit the IL shortly after Scott with low back pain, but is convinced that he will be “fast enough” back.

With regard to the rotation, Rookie phenomenon Roki Sasaki is pain -free and runs before a return to the hill before October.

Although the current situation for the Dodgers is more tense than someone would like, Friedman knows who he can rely on the injured list and who will define their season in October.
