We actually only had to get home from the long trip with the camper (and the trip to Greece) before we started booking new trips. At the moment we are actually in Uzbekistan, but it is not the only trip of the autumn…
How can we travel so much?
Someone might be wondering how we can travel so much, so it’s a good thing we start answering that question. First of all, it’s because we created our digital travel magazine, www.freedomtravel.se, for work. The magazine is ad-funded and we can work wherever we are.
So we travel a lot, but that means not That we are on holiday. On the contrary, we work a lot during our travels. On the one hand, we work with the best parts: foot, film, writing reports, etc., but there are also many other tasks: advertising sales, sponsored articles, statistical reports to companies, accounting, collaborative conversations, digital meetings, e-mail correspondence, etc. We will also soon be taking on new ones to expand our travel agency. So yes, having a digital job gives us the opportunity to work wherever we are. Of course, to complete the equation, we need to keep costs low while traveling. We do this by traveling easily (for example Fricampa with the camper, staying with friends or living in tents, as we did in the Philippines) or by collaborating with different travel agencies or destinations.
Now that we are traveling in Uzbekistan, this is done in collaboration with the Uzbek embassy. We have been responsible for everything from planning the trip and putting together the group to taking care of all communication between the embassy, guides, travelers in the group, etc.
What will happen for fall and winter travel?
So, what will happen for fall and winter travel? We probably won’t travel with the camper again this year – if there is no small excursion possible … on the other hand, there will be other trips! Right now, as I said, we are in Uzbekistan, and when we get home it will only be a few days before we leave for… Tunisia!
A little later this autumn it may trend towards Bratislava in Slovakia (a country we have never been to!) and possibly a beautiful destination in Germany. It’s not clear yet, so it remains to be seen…

We usually celebrate New Year with our good friends Lennart and Beata. We would rather not break that tradition! They used to live near us, more specifically in Bromma, but now they have moved to… Spain! Even if it becomes light It won’t be long before we hope to continue the tradition of celebrating New Year’s together! In the worst case, if the air prices are too high, we can go on another occasion.
