Maroulis now has eight world medals for her resume.
Olga Khoroshavtseva and the People’s Republic of China’s Hong Kexin shared the bronze medal.
In the 50 kg division, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea’s Won myong-gyong claimed the title that China defeated Zhang Yu. The score in the final was 8-2. Elizaveta SmirnovaDie United World Wrestling represents, and Türkiye’s House Demven Yavuz Were the bronze medal winners.
Japanese Morikawa Miwa scored a decisive 8-0 win in the 65 kg division over Alina Kasabievaclaim her second global title after winning in 2022. The bronze medal winners were Moldovies Irina RingaciThe World Champion 2021 on 65 kg, and that of Mongolia Tuvshinjargalyn Enkhjin.
Ecuador’s Genesis Rustco took the last gold medal of the day and recorded the 76 kg title above Kyrgyzstan Aiiry Medit Crazy. American Kylie Welker and Cubas Milaimys MarínA bronze medal winner in Paris, completed the top three.
The competition in Zagreb will continue on Thursday (September 18) with the last day of the Freestyle Finals for Women.
