Ally Schlegel is on her way to the Triangle.
The Longmont, Colorado native has signed a two-year contract with the North Carolina Courage after announcing earlier this week that she would be leaving Chicago Stars FC and pursuing free agency.
For three seasons, Schlegel was a key player for the Stars, both on and off the field. Now she joins the Courage as they look to bounce back after narrowly missing the 2025 playoffs.
The fourth-year player became a free agent for the first time this summer and initially struggled with the decision to leave Chicago.
