A week after the deal was closed, Alexander Isak spoke for the first time about his relocation from Newcastle United to Liverpool.
Last Monday (September 1, 2025), Isak eventually moved a £ 130 million deal.
Alexander Isak had refused to do Media Pak prior to one of the September internationals in Sweden.
However, that changed last night.

“It’s nice that things were sorted (moving from Newcastle to Liverpool) for the meeting (Sweden’s internationals) and that I could concentrate on playing football again.
“It has been a fairly new situation (the problems surrounding his transfer) for me, but you also learn and develop mentally from the field.
“It is clear that not everyone has the whole picture.
“But that’s something for another day.
“At the moment the disappointment is in this competition (Kosovo 2 Sweden 0) and how it went.
“But at the same time I have a positive feeling about the club team part that is coming.
“That (which happened during the dispute by Isak with Newcastle United) part of football.
“I can’t have control over everything that is said or written.
“But I’m glad I became a Liverpool player.
“That’s what I wanted and I’m happy with that.”
Alexander Isak asked if he regrets what happened this summer:
“There is much to discuss …
“It has been educational and I am happy with the end result.
“I am happy and proud to be a Liverpool player.”

“I don’t want to go into details or talk too much about that situation.
“It’s a closed chapter, but I’ve never had any problems.”
