Hyundai waited for all other brands to reveal their new cars at the IAA Mobility Show in Munich before he took the wraps of the concept three, as a result of which rivals would not steal his thunder. What is it? A glimpse into the future of a smaller Ioniq model, with a design that channeled futuristic Veloster -Vibes. Even without the idiosyncratic asymmetrical doors of the absorbed hatchback, the profile is immediately recognizable. And luckily it is no other crossover. We already have a lot of it.
The concept three is refreshing compact. Hyundai says that the show car is 168.8 inch (4,288 millimeters), 77.4 inch (1,968 millimeters) wide and 57.6 inch (1,465 millimeters) long. Despite its modest footprint, it has a generous wheelbase of 107.1-inch (2,722 millimeters), comparable to combustion carts from the next segment up. That is the advantage of a special EV platform that makes better packaging and a stretched wheelbase possible to maximize the interior space.

The low-hanging hatchback, painted in tungsten gray, fits perfectly in the Ioniq family, given the multitude of pixels on the front and back, many of which are enlightened. With its aggressive nose, oversized diffuser, central wheels and functional ventilation openings, the concept issues three serious performance car energy.
Inside, the Moonbeam Yellow Cabin looks directly from a video game torn. The playful, cheerful design gives you the feeling that you got into a game console. Spotting “Mr. Pix” spread over the car contributes to the feeling of curiosity and fun Hyundai wants the concept to embody three.
Propicality, however, is a hit. The sloping roof line eats in the greenhouse and endangers a jeopardizing visibility. At first glance, the tailgate seems to be missing a rear window, but the so -called “Aero Hatch” contains a small glass section. How much of this daring design can still be seen, although the suicide doors are almost certainly intended for the floor of the cutting room.

When it comes, the concept three is not really the smallest EV in Hyundai. That role belongs to the Casper Electric, sold in Europe as the instruct. In contrast to the concept three, however, the small city car is not part of the Ioniq family, because it runs on the same platform as the Casper-driven Casper instead of a customized EV architecture.
