Carlos Alcaraz kept his flawless US open campaign alive on Sunday due to the threat of great serving Frenchman Arthur Rindernech to reach the quarterfinals.

“At the start of the first set we were tight. We had no breaking points in the first set, but it did not mean that we served well, because the percentage was really bad about both,” said Alcaraz. ‘I’m just [found] A good rhythm, a good position for the return … I tried to get the most out of the opportunities he gave me, but there were not many. ”
With his two -hour victory of 12 minutes, Alcaraz became the youngest man in the open era to reach 13 large quarterfinals. In his fourth US Open quarterfinals in his five performances at the event, the 2022 champion will then be confronted with the 20th Seed Jiri Lehecka.

It was not long before Alcaraz fans stood in Arthur Ashe Stadium to a frenzy with a moment of daring glare in the fourth game. With a tour leading 58 victories and six titles in 2025 according to the Infosys ATP Win/Loss Index, Alcaraz stays on schedule to darken his career-best count of 65 stores on tour level and six trophies from 2023.
Alcaraz could also return to number 1 in the PIF ATP ranking for the first time since September of that year if he matches or surpasses the result of the defending champion Jannik Sinner in New York.
