After Dream11, My11Circle has stopped IPL – BCCI is confronted with sponsorship crisis

The largest associated sponsor of Indian Premier League, My11Circle, has decided to end his partnership with the tournament and to give a new blow to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). The development came shortly after Dream11 withdrew as the official sponsor of the Indian cricket team.

According to a BCCI officer, the Fantasie Platform informed the board that it could not continue because of the increasing business challenges. My11Circle, managed by Games24x7, had committed £ 625 crore for five years in 2024, overbidden Dream11 for the associate sponsor Rights.

However, the regulatory clampdown on real gaming under the promotion and regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025, has forced both Dream11 and My11Circle to close their activities in India. With Fantasy Gaming now out of the picture, BCCI will have to look for replacements in new categories to fill the income gap.

Last season, the Crore -contribution of My11Circle IPL helped to touch almost £ 875 crore with annual sponsorship income. Of the other sponsors, five long -term contracts have until 2028, while the Rupay deal extends until 2026. The output of two fantasy giants quickly in succession, but leaves the cricket board opposite a sponsor hunt prior to IPL 2026.

In the meantime, BCCI has already driven new ratings for the sponsorship of Team India. The asking price is £ 3.5 crore per bilateral fixture and £ 1.5 crore per ICC or ACC game, with expectations of at least £ 450 crore of a new three-year deal. The Indian T20i side, which is currently preparing for the Asia Cup in Dubai, trains in regular sweaters without a sponsor logo.
