Congress democrats destroy the decision of President Donald Trump to use the National Guard in Washington, DC, while local officials are fighting in court to send the troops home.

Rep. Emanuel Cleaver, D-MO., Named the efforts of service members as part of Trump’s action against crime in the ‘terrible’ district.

“It is definitely one of the most ridiculous things, and they shame us on the world stage,” said Cleaver. “Because we are here, the Citadel of Democracy, and very clearly a bit of that ‘d’ every day when we send troops to Washington, DC, when Mayor Bowser did not ask them.”

Senator Roger Marshall, R-Kan., Argued that troops who patrol the city through the streets made the city safer.

“It’s a new day,” he said. “Regarding the Democrats, look, I don’t know why they don’t believe in safety and safety.”

Trump’s deployment of the National Guard in Washington comes after moving to federalize the local police through the Home Rule Act last month, and it is part of an increase in federal law enforcement officers who have been patrolling in the streets since then.

Mayor Muriel Bowser of the District has acknowledged that the acquisition of Trump contributed to reducing crime in Washington, DC, who went so far to sign an executive order that further cooperation with federal officials encourages crime.

But DC -Procurer -General Brian Schwalb sued the administration earlier this week in an attempt to remove the National Guard from the district.

“We should not use the guard for that, but we should coordinate locally with our federal partners,” said Senator Peter Welch, D-VT., “Our FBI is very helpful. Dea is very useful. So there is a lot of room for cooperation to try to tackle the crime problems in all our cities.”

His lawsuit came up with the heels of a judge who ruled that Trump was the efforts of the National Guard in Los Angeles illegal earlier this year. Schwalb argued in his lawsuit that a law from the 1870s prevents troops from domestic police work.

“It’s just a Commonsen issue,” said Senator John Hoeven, RN.D. “And I think Democrats should pronounce:” Great, how do we work together to ensure that the district is as safe as possible for everyone’s benefit? “

Rep. Maria Elvira Salazar, R-fla., Argued that troops in DC were ‘simple’.

“The crime was pretty high in Washington, DC, right? And then Trump traded, and now crime is falling by 97%,” she said. “What’s wrong with that?”

Senator Martin Heinrich, DN.M., noted that the deployment of the National Guard in his home state helped police work. Earlier this year, the Democratic Government of New Mexico Michelle Lujan Grisham called on the guard of the state to help the local police fight Fentanyl and juvenile crime.

But Heinrich prevented Trump’s use of troops not really about supporting the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD).

“I am worried that what we see in DC do not really support police activities and more is a distraction from the Epstein situation,” he said.
