UFC newcomer Aaron Pico has released a statement in the aftermath of his annoying knockout loss to Lerone Murphy.
As we know, there was a lot of hype around Aaron Pico prior to his debut in the Ultimate Fighting Championship last weekend. The overwhelming expectation was that if he could beat Lerone Murphy, he would set himself up for a world title fight against Alexander Volkanovski. Unfortunately, that is not entirely how things came out.

Instead, Pico was eliminated by Murphy with an annoying rotating elbow. Since then, fans and experts analyze the long-term potential of the former Bellator sensation. Some believe that this is nothing more than a short setback, while others have pointed to the number of times he has already been eliminated in his mixed martial arts career.
Anyway, it is certainly not the kind of debut that Pico wanted. In a statement on social media, he was humble in defeat.
