The outfielder of New York Yankees Aaron Judge has already begun to settle as one of the greats of all time that ever wears the pinstripes. He continued to prove that on Thursday evening with a few home runs in a 9-3 victory over the Detroit Tigers, so that he was placed further under the greats of the franchise of all time.
His two home runs on Thursday not only brought him to 46 for the season and helped him in an inch closer to the 50-home Run Mark, but they also brought him in a draw for fourth place on the home list of the franchise with 361 home runs as a member of the Yankees. Here is the Thuis Run that moved him in that draw.
At this point he only follows Babe Ruth (659), Mickey Mantle (536) and Lou Gehrig (493) on the franchise of all time. Judge already owns the team of the team and the record of American League-with 62 from the 2022 season.
The only thing that Judge is missing in his CV at the moment to really join the Yankees elite is a World Series ring. He has all individual prices and could add an MVP to his trophy case this season, but the World Series is the only thing that really holds him a layer under the Legends layer of Ruth, Mantle, Hrig and Derek Jeter.
He came to the neighborhood a year ago when the Yankees reached the World Series, but he struggled throughout the series. Perhaps this year will be different for him and the Yankees.
